I am building a new website for digitalvisionaryart 2.0, above are some screenshots of it’s development.
A few months ago this website encountered an error which shut it down for a few weeks. A few months before that I was having issues with the videos and the back end functionality of the website became unusable due to certain plugins being discontinued. It’s been very hard to work with.
I have tried fixing these issues as much as possible and I think most of the website is currently operational, it’s just a little more basic than it was before. I have gone through each module and updated videos and links but if you find any that are down, please just let me know.
As frustrating as this has been it may however be a blessing because it pushed me start building a brand new website for digitalvisonaryart 2.0.
So far it’s going well, most of the core website is created, I’m currently uploading the old material to get this new website at a stage of launching. Once it’s launched I will be going back and refining and updating the content where needed.
I have had to go back and look through some of my course content and I have to say I was impressed with the amount of work I had put into the writing, filming, editing and setting everything up! Also I was surprised by how much of the information could still be used today.
The majority of the content on this website is over 6 years old now, that’s a long time. My own skills and approaches to creating digital art have evolved so much and I plan to share everything I know about creating digital art with you.
It’s my goal to update every course unit and eventually create new and expanded courses.
I decided I would try and update the logo intro for the new videos I develop, this is not the final version, but it’s getting closer. I want each aspect of the new website and content to reflect the higher quality of work I am capable of.
On my personal website I offer memberships to my collective, in the collective I share the most up to date details of my artworks before sharing them on social media. I had been planning to add a new tier called the creators collective in which I share art process videos.
So about a year ago I started recording new videos where I explain how I create my artworks. I have filmed around 30 pieces so far, they just need editing and posting online.
This new creators collective has not yet launched, but some of these process videos are available now in the advanced digital art course, process videos module.
My new and future content is currently focused on 3D creation, stock image and animation tutorials.
Current and future students
All current students can transfer accounts from this website to the new website for free, I will be sending out emails to everyone explaining the transition and process.
Thank you all so much for your support, I wish you all the best with your creations!
